Welcome back Kotters

Welcome back to everyone who has reconnected with the Northern family. Don't forget, today is the funeral for Sean, but as requested by Ceci and the family, they ask that you use any money that would have been spent on flowers and put it towards the charity of your choice in Sean's name.

Everyone is being given full access rights to the blog, so feel free to post news items, chat back and forth, and continue to reconnect with the Northern family.

Its great to get reconnected with all of you!

Via con Dios Mad-dog

Sean...Your booming voice will resonate in the hearts and minds of those who knew you forever. You were such a character, and with so much character. You were the Director of Golf. You called me "Bulldog" and I called you "Mad-dog". You could always make me laugh. My condolences to your family whom you loved and were so proud. I will miss you my friend, and will always remember you as simply "outstanding!"

"Oustanding"

Truly saddened by the loss of My Friend. I will always cherish the memories; golfing with Sean and his boys. Dinner with Sean and his sister Kristy....So hard to believe he has left us so soon.

We will miss you!

Sean just exuded energy whenever he walked into a room. I will truly miss hearing him call me P&L (profit and loss) and his always positive response to the question, how are you? "If I was any better, ..." - that line was always followed by many positive thoughts. And this was classic Sean going back to the late 80's when he first joined Northern - always positive, always upbeat. My heart goes out to his family, who he was so very proud of. During a business phone conversation, he would often share a story about one of his children, and it was very obvious that he truly considered Ceci his "better" half. Sean will truly be missed, and I pray for God's peace upon his family during this very difficult time.

A sad loss, but lots of happy memories

It is with great condolences that we announce that Sean Maddock passed away Wednesday, June 17th at 10pm. Sean was a great asset to the Northern team as well as a friend that will be greatly missed by all. Here are some of the memories of Sean, as shared by his friends:

I am going to miss his calls and his optimism. He helped us build many relationships at Northern and was always focused on exceeding customer’s expectations. He leaves behind a young family with many requirements. I talked with Ceci earlier this evening and she needs our prayers and help.

Time on earth is short. Mike - thanks for the updates and encouraging words.

Sean was a big presence in that community and I will never forget his boisterous greeting when I would enter the room. You could not ignore Sean, he had a great heart for people and he will be missed.

Sean was a true force of nature that brought passion and determination to everything the he tackled. However in every conversation that I had with Sean over the years the one thing that he was most passionate about was his wife and kids. He always had a great story about his family and conveyed how much he truly adored them at every opportunity. In my opinion one can have no better legacy. To the Maddock family my most heartfelt condolences and prayers.

Rest in peace Sean.

When Bill Ellifson first took over for Eric Mandernack as Sean's inside sales person, I walked by Bill's door about 4 or 5 times over a couple of hours. Every time I walked by Bill was standing. Next day, same thing. I finally asked Bill why he wasn't sitting down, and he replied, "Sean says I can't sit down until I hit $10,000 in sales for the day."

Sean certainly had a way to motivate!
